Who I am & Who I help
I really found the transition from babyhood to toddlerhood with my son very challenging.
Tantrums were triggering and various other behaviours led me on my own personal development and conscious parenting journey.
I’ve spent the past ten years studying parenting styles, attachment theory, trauma, somatic therapy and brain development. I learnt that the triggers were never my son’s fault, they were all linked to my own past.
I am a trauma informed Clinical Hypnotherapist, qualified Mindset Coach – trained in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Timeline Therapy™ and EFT (Tapping). I have experience in Executive Coaching, a degree in Marketing and Human Resource Management and a huge passion for my work – it’s my life and doesn’t actually feel like work at all!

What is conscious parenting and how does it differ from traditional parenting?
Conscious parenting (should just be called ‘parenting’!) focuses on being present, mindful, and connected with your child. It’s about understanding your own emotions and triggers, responding rather than reacting, and fostering open communication and empathy. In traditional parenting, the emphasis might be on obedience, control, and external rewards/punishments.
What are some challenges parents face before they work with you?
Letting go of perfectionism, overcoming self-judgement, navigating generational patterns, managing stress and exhaustion, setting healthy boundaries, and communicating effectively with their child are some common challenges.
What techniques or tools do you use in your programs?
Some common tools include NLP techniques, mindfulness exercises, communication techniques, emotional regulation strategies, somatic movement and grounding exercises, positive reinforcement, understanding child development, EFT and exploring subconscious patterns through hypnotherapy.
Do you offer support for parents who are reintegrating back into the workplace following parental leave?
Yes. I work with HR leaders who are seeking ways to best support mums and dads with transitioning back to work following maternity or paternity leave. Get in touch to find out more information on this.
Is this just about changing my child's behaviour?
While your child’s behaviour may shift, the primary focus is on your own internal transformation. As you change your perspective and approach, your child will naturally react and adapt, leading to a more balanced and connected relationship.
How do I know this would be right for me?
If you’re a parent (yes, I work with dads too!) and you’re exhausted from parenting, working and all the other responsibilities – then I can help. Yes, we have issues at a systemic level and that does mean it’s harder than ever before to cope with modern motherhood – but there is a lot we can do as individuals to really turn things around and feel good again. I will be your cheerleader to get you to your desired outcome. And when it comes to your children – we work together to find alternative solutions to challenging behaviours without resorting to control or coercion.

My approach blends deep personal experience with professional expertise. My journey began by exploring my parents’ relationships with their own parents, uncovering the powerful influence of generational patterns. From my curiosity as well as my own matresence journey, I gained profound insights that shaped the work I do today.
